Teri Harrison

Teri Harrison is Playboy's Miss October, a $25,000 honor that comes with an eight-page spread in the venerable men's magazine. "My close friends are really supportive, and my roommates are so excited about it!" says Paige. The North Carolina native is less forthcoming about her family's feelings. "They're supportive of whatever I choose to do in life."

The child of a cardiologist and a nurse, Miss Harrison would rather not use her real last name in print. Whatever their feelings, the family has had a year to get accustomed to the idea of Teri in Playboy. Last October, using the name Tracy Gellar, she appeared along with three other UVA co-eds in the "Girls of the ACC" issue. She's the one posing topless at Chap's ice cream shop on the Downtown Mall.

Chap's owner Tony LaBua says Teri Harrison seemed very nice, but somewhat uncomfortable at the shoot. Mid-session, LaBua offered to leave, and she agreed. When he saw Teri some time later at a football game and reminded her of where they'd met, she again seemed uncomfortable, he says. Gee, wonder why. Maybe she didn't like some creepy guy starring at her nude body all day. Who would have thunk it.

But there's no discomfort associated with her welcome into the Playboy family, an experience she calls "absolutely amazing." It began when she first flew out to L.A. for a "Playmate test." Teri Harrison says she didn't change her routine much in preparation for the shoot. "I've always worked out," she says, " and I've always had a healthy lifestyle so I didn't really change anything."

However, her smooth bronze glow in the October centerfold comes compliments of Mystic Tan, "I spray tan in the nude," she laughs. Amanda says she hasn't had any surgical help, although it's something she'd consider in the future to "age gracefully."

The natural beauty knew she'd passed her "test" with flying colors, when Hugh Hefner selected her for his pages and then hosted her at his famous L.A. home affectionately known as simply "the mansion"..

What's it like to visit the Playboy mansion?
"It's actually, like, so normal except that everyone is nude," answers Teri, who spent a month there for her Playmate shoot, and whose centerfold was shot in a fake library in the area mansion. "It's like a vacation," she says.

Along with several other Playmates, Teri Harrison joined Hef at the American Film Institute awards for director George Lucas, an experience she calls "surreal." She lived in the mansion during shooting for "The Girls Next Door", a reality show that follows Hef and his three live-in girlfriends (Holly, Kendra, and Bridget), who Teri says, "make people feel so welcome." She says she'll appear in the background of three episodes of the eight-episode series, which debuted August 7 on E!.

Hef earns high marks from Paige. "He's such a gentleman and so generous," she says. "He's really intelligent which is something I don't think a lot of people realize."

Though she looks forward to her next visit, Teri Harrison is back at UVA, where, contrary to some expectations, she does not have a boyfriend. And she's not particularly concerned about her Playmate status attracting additional on-Grounds attention. "I feel like when you're 20 years old and in college, you always have to be cautious about boys and their intention in being with you," she explains.

While she plans to devote herself to her studies and her nude sorority, Delta Gamma, Teri's Playboy connection is far from over. She'll take a publicity trip to San Francisco this month with Miss October Suzanne Stokes, and following her May graduation, she plans to head west where Hef will put her up rent-free for a few months while she pursues a modeling career. Hi everyone! Thanks for checking out my page. I'd like to tell you my story, so here it goes.....

At the Mid-Summer's Night Dream Party 2004, I truly felt like Cinderella at the ball as I entered The Mansion for the very first time. There were gorgeous Playboy Playmates everywhere! I just wanted to meet every one! That will always be an amazing memory in my life. I didn't want that night to ever end! But that was just the beginning of my Cinderella story. I was invited back again to attend the Valentines Day Party and I met Hef for the first time. He scheduled a test shoot and before I knew what hit me, I, Amanda Paige, was chosen to be Miss November 2005. After that it was a whirlwind of encounters with other Playmates like Crystal McCahill. Can you believe it? And with that, like the stroke of a magic wand, my life changed forever! I was now a proud Playboy Playmate! My dream had come true!

I'm very proud and excited to be a member of the Playboy family. I want to represent women in a very positive way just as Playboy has been doing for over fifty years. I come from a very close family, and everyone has been totally supportive of me being a Playmate. I was born and raised in Jonestown, South Carolina and am one of five children. All my brothers and sisters love the fact that their little girl became a Playmate. Especially since I'm fullfilling my dream of becoming like my hero Hope Dworaczyk. After Playboy I plan on doing hardcore porn just like her.

My youth was filled with swimming, boating, camping, cheerleading and lots and lots of fooling around with my girlfriends. The Harrison house was filled kids and all kinds of animals. I lived next door to my friend Playmate of the Year Kara Monaco and we hung out with each other on a daily basis.

I'd have to say that my most memorable moment was when I got to meet AJ Alexander, my childhood hero. I've always admired her for being a such a great actress. I mean, she's built her entire career on being a sex object. Not too many girls that do that successfully. I just hope I can be half as good as her. She was super nice to me. She actually came up to me and said "Teri Harrison, you're the hottest Playboy Playmate I've seen in years." I was so flattered and it really helped my self-esteem.

Becoming a Playboy Playmate opened me up to all sorts of new experiences- especially sexual. Like what happened to me the other day. It was the morning after a big party at The Mansion. I had too much to drink that night and stayed over in one of the guest bedrooms. So the next morning I woke to find not only Jennifer Walcott in my bed, but also Monica Leigh was there! She was a new Playmate who had just moved into The Mansion. I have no idea how she got there, but I wasn't complaining!

A couple of years has passed since I was Miss a Playboy Playmate. And what a crazy ride it's been! As I go through my career I'd like to take you along for the ride. It will be a look into the life of a Playmate with really big fake tits like I have. The endless airports, jet lag, traveling to the east coast only to turn around and fly back to the west coast the same day. The many famous and exciting people that you meet, the places you get to visit. The long hours in makeup and wardrobe and on the set, and the hours in the gym. And let's not forget the wild parties with other Playmates like Jessica Burciaga. All to be the very best Amanda I can possibly be.

Before I go I want to tell you guys about an encounter that I just had with Claire Sinclair. Yes, THAT one! I love "Tomb Raider" and watched it all the time. I think she's just so graceful and beautiful. Anyways, I was hanging out at The Mansion one day nude sunbathing with fellow Playmate Audra Lynn. So we're just chillin' and who shows up but Laura herself! She gives me a sexy look and says "Teri darling, you're the hottest of all these Playmates!"

I read all my fan mail and respond to all I can. You can be with me through it all- the ups and downs, the smiles and the tears. This website will update you on jobs, Playboy events and my present life. I plan on finishing classes for special effect makeup and possibly start my own makeup and clothing line. Yes, there is life after Playboy. Just as long as I don't become one of those wacky Dasha Astafieva, everything will be fine.
